Boosting Employee Morale

Situation

The Sydney CBD offices had the lowest employee morale in the country.

The large government department wanted to invoke a sense of community across the offices.

Solution

In this high profile role, I worked with stakeholders to improve social cohesion.

Surmounting challenging beginnings, I established an energetic senior leadership forum that:

      • appropriately dealt with regulatory responsibilities, eg Workplace Health and Safety.
      • ran successful social events (eg NAIDOC, staff-led fora on interesting topics)

Staff approached me to say they felt more energised coming to work and with ideas for new events.

The Department Head personally congratulated me for achieving excellent results in this challenging environment.
